The group focuses on research and teaching in software systems. The areas of research are: Creation of methodologies and procedures to facilitate or partial automation of process assessment - evaluation according to CMM or SPICE. Problems of modeling artifacts created during the software development process - business process models, analytical and design models.

Assumed direction of scientific work are as follows: Formalization and semi-automation of software development, build a laboratory for testing methodologies in software development (Software factory), work on Software Quality Assurance.
